Phyllis Perron is a native of Ville Platte, Louisiana, a graduate of Sacred Heart High School of that city and received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge. She also attended Tulane University and is a Fellow of the first class of the Louisiana State University Academy of Politics. Phyllis founded Phyllis Perron and Associates, Inc. in 1984, after seven years as Chief Executive Officer for the Louisiana Association of Life Underwriters, a 3,000 - member professional association. Phyllis Perron and Associates, Inc., is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art governmental relations, association management and consulting services tailored to the special and shared needs of its client organizations. Prior to 1984, she worked for two state agencies, the Governor’s Office of Consumer Protection and the Louisiana Egg Commission as well as two electric utility companies, CLECO and Dixie Electric. She has been involved in insurance related matters for 25 years and government relations for 30 years. |

Julie Fuselier is a graduate of Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in French, Spanish and Social Studies Education. She also attended the Universite’ d’Angers in Angers, France. Ms. Fuselier has worked at Phyllis Perron and Associates in different capacities since 1989. After teaching school for one year, she joined Phyllis Perron and Associates full time in 1994. Ms. Fuselier is currently President of the Louisiana Society of Association Executives and she is a member of the American Society of Association Executives. She is also Executive Secretary of the Louisiana Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Association. Ms. Fuselier is also a member of several LA Association of Business and Industry Councils. She works with Ms. Perron in upholding PPA’s philosophy of quality and efficient service. |
