Phyllis Perron, President
Ms. Perron is a native of Louisiana with a Bachelor of Science Degree from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge. She also attended Tulane University.
Ms. Perron started her own business, Phyllis Perron and Associates (PPA), in April, 1984, after seven years as Chief Executive Officer for the Louisiana Association of Life Underwriters, a 3,000 - member professional association. Phyllis Perron and Associates is a full service Association Management and Government Relations firm. Prior to 1984, she was with the Governor's Office of Consumer Protection, having joined the agency at its inception in 1972 and headed the Consumer Education and Information Section. She previously was with the Louisiana Egg Commission, Dixie Electric Membership Cooperative, and Central Louisiana Electric Company. She is Executive Director of several professional and trade associations, including the Louisiana Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Association.
She has developed customized management strategies tailored for each client and has experienced the volunteer side by serving on several 501(c)3 and 501(c)6 organizations as a board member.
Julie Fuselier, Vice President & Director of Association Management Services
Ms. Fuselier is a graduate of Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in French, Spanish and Social Studies Education. She also attended the Universite’ d’Angers in Angers, France. Ms. Fuselier has worked at Phyllis Perron and Associates in different capacities since 1989. After teaching school for one year, she joined PPA full time in 1994. Ms. Fuselier is a registered lobbyist and a Past President of the Louisiana Society of Association Executives; she is a member of the American Society of Association Executives. She is also Executive Secretary of the Louisiana Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Association.
Ms. Fuselier is a member of several LA Association of Business and Industry Councils. She concentrates on the association management business at PPA and works with Ms. Perron in upholding PPA’s philosophy of quality and efficient service.
Pam Gaspard, Bookkeeper
Mrs. Gaspard has re-joined PPA in 2005. She previously worked for PPA in 1997 and 1998 as an association assistant. Mrs. Gaspard attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana where she pursued an accounting degree. Mrs. Gaspard previously worked as the data processing coordinator at Columbia Women’s and Children’s Hospital and she also was the bookkeeper for Rayner Learning Center. She participates on our team as the bookkeeper for PPA and several association clients.
Crystal Carter, Member Services Coordinator for Association Management
Ms. Carter, grew up in Central area in Baton Rouge, LA. She graduated from Centenary College of Louisiana in Shreveport with a Bachelor of Arts in English in 2002. Prior to joining the PPA team in 2007, she resided in Shreveport, LA, and began her career in the insurance industry, working with marketing and event coordinating. She recently earned her Masters degree in Public Administration from LSU in Baton Rouge. She is a member of the Louisiana Society of Association Executives and the Society of Government Meeting Planners.
Ms. Carter works with multiple associations to meet their mission and goals.
Jennifer Richard, Association Assistant
Mrs. Richard, a native of Gretna, LA, is a graduate of LSU with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Masters of Education with a Concentration in Secondary English. Mrs. Richard taught school for six years and also worked in the clerical field for several years before she attended LSU.
Mrs. Richard joined our team in 2011 and she works in association management division.
Nicole Moorefield, Association Assistant
Mrs. Moorefield, a native of Columbia, South Carolina, is a graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management. She resided in Columbia, SC for two years and began her career in Association Management. She and her husband relocated to Lafayette, LA in 2014.
Mrs. Moorefield joined the PPA team in 2015 and works with multiple associations.
Kelley Henderson, Administrative Assistant
Ms. Henderson is a native of Rancho Cucamonga, California. She joined Phyllis Perron and Associates in 2015. She previously worked in the clerical field for eleven years.
Ms. Henderson is the receptionist/administrative assistant and also assists the PPA team in association management.
